Nutrition foundations
The first part of the course will ensure you have a solid understanding of nutrition including education on macronutrients, minerals of particular importance for runners, digestive well-being and dietary fibre, everyday hydration and sustainable eating patterns.
Sports nutrition
The second part of the course will build on everyday nutrition and get into more detailed specifics surrounding nutrition in training. This includes understanding how to fuel before, during, and after running to maximise your adaptation to all the hard work you're putting in!
Nourish your potential
The final part of the course brings everything together so that you can prepare for race day and construct your own nutrition plan. On completion of this course you should have sufficient knowledge, skills and confidence to tackle your next event with ease and nourish your potential.
Included in the course:
- Eight modules covering nutrition basics, sports nutrition specific for runners and everything in between.
- TWO hours of educational videos broken down into 33 bite-sized clips.
- Downloadable resources, guides & suggested further reading/listening.
- Mini quizzes throughout and a final exam.
- Certificate of completion.

About the creator
Cushla is a NZ Registered Dietitian, Accredited Sports Dietitian, and endurance runner based in the South Island of New Zealand. Most weeks are spent working 1:1 with clients from all walks of life with a large majority being active individuals, weekend warriors and elite athletes. Other work includes presenting nutrition seminars, working with the NZ defence force, and more recently building online courses!
